Northumberland United Way has been changing the lives of people living in Northumberland County since 1969. As the largest non-governmental funder of locally-based health and social services in Northumberland County, we are dedicated to creating opportunities to improve lives and create a lasting, positive impact.
We do this by helping kids develop the skills they need to build strong, healthy relationships; by connecting families with social services in their community and supporting seniors remain independent in their home.
Our mission is to bring people and resources together to build a strong, healthy, safe community for all.
An inclusive community where no one is left behind.
At United Way, we’re committed to ensuring our donors have the best possible experience. These policies allow us to meet the needs of our donors, steward donor dollars and ensure we’re keeping everyone’s information safe.
We acknowledge that United Way Northumberland is situated on the traditional territory of the Anishnabek, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), Ojibway/Chippewa peoples. As settlers, we’re grateful for the opportunity to live and work on this land and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land – for thousands of years.
