Community Funding & Grants

Each year we open our Community Impact Funding process to charitable organizations across Northumberland County. Our application is designed to address core issues in each of our Focus Areas (poverty, kids and community) while creating a lasting impact for real people in our communities. Funding will be provided for a minimum of $10,000 and up.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria, that they understand the funding application, and have the proper documentation in place. However, that being said, we are here to help! We are available to support applicants and make sure that that each applicant puts their best foot forward!

For both new and returning applications, please make sure that you’ve read through the application completely. If you have questions or want to get some insight on this process, please contact avandine@nuw.unitedway.ca to discuss your application.

The application period has officially closed. Thank you to all those who submitted their applications.
