Behan Construction is ‘Rebuilding Northumberland County’ with a generous matching gift donation of $20,000 to support Northumberland United Way. From now until the end of December, Behan Construction will match all donations to Northumberland United Way up to $20,000, doubling the impact of your donation.
“We like to support United Way because it is neighbour helping neighbour. The money goes directly into supporting our community, helping to improve the lives of those amongst us who need a hand up,” says Tom Behan, President, Behan Construction. “United Way has a long history of being well connected with a wide range of community contacts so they are in a strong position to determine the needs in this area and United Way knows how to best stretch the money for maximum effectiveness. We have a high level of confidence that our money is going to be put to good use by United Way.”
Behan Construction’s matching gift of $20,000, when doubled by the gifts of generous local donors will become upwards of $40,000 to support Northumberland United Way. All dollars raised will support those who need it most in our community and to address the emerging needs we continue to see as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
