The 3rd annual Northumberland Rocks Back concert, held this June, raised an amazing $20,000 to help local community organizations and impact residents.
Grand Ole Opry Member and multi-platinum artist Chris Janson fired up the Cobourg Community Centre on June 15 with an electrifying live performance, and was joined by local artists Jeremy Macklin, Nickola Magnolia and Western Avenue.
“Thank you for rocking out with Chris Janson, Northumberland,” said Graham Beer, Chair of Northumberland Rocks Back. “We are proud to create a memorable experience and local impact for our community.”
The Northumberland Rocks Back committee extends its heartfelt appreciation to their gold sponsors, including Cobourg Media, Ryan Huffman Real Estate, The Ryan Huffman Foundation, Wharram Tree Service, Thomas Buick GMC, Crowe’s Gas and their venue partner, the Town of Cobourg.
“We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support and the positive impact this will have on our community,” said Maggie Darling, Acting Executive Director, United Way Northumberland. “These funds will make a difference in addressing important issues like food security, mental health, children’s programs, senior support and housing assistance, to name a few.”
Since 2021, Northumberland Rocks Back has raised a combined total of $91,000 for Northumberland United Way and Lions Club of Cobourg.
