“We are grateful to be part of this event again this year,” said Dianne Turk, Director of Resource Development, Northumberland United Way. “In 2021, Northumberland Rocks Back raised over $25,000 of which, $18,672 was donated to United Way that was distributed to eight local organizations. With this funding, families were able to access food from local food banks, children received singing masks and audio equipment for musical programs, a local homeless shelter was able to provide enhanced COVID-19 safety protocols, and seniors were able to receive grocery deliveries at home.”
The Northumberland Rocks Back committee is still looking for additional sponsors to help produce another fantastic show. Please visit www.northumberlandrocks.ca/sponsor for more information and email contact@northumberlandrocks.ca to inquire.
