Northumberland United Way is accepting applications for 2021 annual Community Impact and Grant Funding

Attention all not-for-profit and charitable organizations in Northumberland County. Northumberland United Way is now accepting applications for 2021 Annual Community Impact and Grant funding.

Each year, United Way opens its Community Impact Funding process to eligible, registered charities across Northumberland County. The application is designed to address the deep-rooted issues in our community that align with our three focus areas – kids, community, and poverty. New and returning applicants are encouraged to read through the application completely as changes have been made to simplify the process. Applications for the Annual Community Impact Fund will be accepted until Monday, December 6 at 12 p.m.

Eligible registered charities can also apply to the United Way Grant fund. This fund is to enable charitable organizations in Northumberland County to build capacity for an existing service or pilot a new program to address emerging or essential needs in the community. Please note that this year, grant applications must be related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2021 Grant Funding Guidelines:

  • Grants will be provided to a maximum of $5,000
  • Projects must be directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • The applicant must be a registered charitable organization providing services to residents of Northumberland County

Applications for the 2021 Grant fund will be accepted until Monday, November 29 at 4 p.m.
