11 local car dealerships in Northumberland County rallied together to successfully raise over $10,000 in support of United Way through the second annual Cars for Community campaign.
United Way officially launched the second annual Cars for Community campaign on September 1 through to November 30, 2023, with participating dealerships donating $10 from every new and used vehicle sold to United Way.
“Thank you to all of our participating dealerships for making our second annual Cars for Community Campaign a success,” says Maggie Darling, Acting Executive Director, United Way Northumberland. “The proceeds raised will help to address food security, mental health, children’s programming, seniors support, and housing assistance, to name a few.”
United Way extends its gratitude to the following dealerships and their customers: Campbellford Chrysler, Cobourg Honda, Cobourg Mazda, JC&DC Motors, JSC Auto Sales, Lauria Hyundai, Lauria Volkswagen, Mallory Auto, Stewart Auto Hub, Thomas Buick GMC, and Vandermeer Toyota. Thank you as well to Bill Spencer Chevrolet for a generous monetary donation.
