10 automotive dealerships across Northumberland County came together to raise over $6300 to support United Way through their first annual Cars for Community campaign.
United Way officially launched the first annual Cars for Community campaign on September 29 through to November 30, 2022, with participating dealerships donating $10 from every new and used vehicle sold to United Way.
“The response from our first annual Cars for Community campaign has been amazing, and we are so thankful to all of our participating dealerships for their support,” says Maggie Darling, Acting Executive Director, Northumberland United Way. “The proceeds raised from this community initiative will help to address food security, mental health, children’s programming, seniors support, and housing assistance, to name a few.”
