Volunteer Week Spotlight: Rick Riley

Let’s continue celebrating National Volunteer Week by shining a spotlight on our Board of Directors Chair, Rick!

Rick Riley along with his wife and 3 sons have lived and worked in Northumberland County since 1987 and have owned and operated a few successful businesses over those years. As a result of the successes he has had, Rick has always been involved in the community, giving back by donating, volunteering, and serving where possible. He has served on and with many different Boards, from being an Elder at CAC to serving the Rotary Club of Cobourg as its President in 2018-2019, to working with Fare Share Food Bank, Non-Profit Housing, Chamber of Commerce, Town Committees, and currently serving with an amazing Board of Directors as Chair for United Way Northumberland. “My time with United Way Northumberland has opened my eyes to many different facets of non-profits and the plight of many in our community who are un-housed, hungry and suffering. I have seen many good local non-profits find ways with only a few dollars towards their budgets, help many of those who are vulnerable with United Way dollars.”
