Our Team

Behind every great organization, there’s a team that makes each day better than the last. Our team is a dedicated group of professionals who each bring a unique skill set and perspective to the table. They all have one thing in common, a common goal to create a better life for everyone in Northumberland County.

Northumberland United Way is committed to creating a better life for everyone in Northumberland County. Leading the way is our hard-working staff team with more than 50 years of combined expertise.

Alicia Vandine, CFRE

Executive Director

Alicia has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 24 years.  Before joining the Northumberland United Way team in January 2024, Alicia most recently worked for Community Care Peterborough as their Donor Relations and Communications Lead and previously with Community Care Northumberland as the Regional Community Relations Coordinator.

A Certified Fundraising Executive, and when asked about what she loves about her job, “I am here to help donors and volunteers do amazing things in their communities.”

Building on the legacy of the Northumberland United Way, Alicia is anxious to raise its profile throughout Northumberland County, building on old and established partnerships and working to develop new ones.

A published writer, an avid golfer, and a recreational curler, Alicia is a proud representative of Northumberland County, a place she has called home for many years.
