United Way at Work: A New Way to Give
At Northumberland United Way, we know that the way people give is changing – and so must we. That’s why what used to be known as Workplace Campaigns has grown into something more responsive, more human, and more collaborative: United Way at Work. This isn’t just about payroll deductions anymore. It’s about meeting your team where you are – with your values, your capacity, and your desire to help others.
Our recent collaboration with Scotiabank in Cobourg and Port Hope is a beautiful example of this. Their staff came together to support their community in a way that made sense for them. And that’s the heart of it – United Way at Work isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. It’s a partnership built on connection, care, and the shared believe that every act of kindness builds a stronger, more heart-focused community.
Whether it’s hosting a fundraiser, volunteering as a team, or making a one-time donation – every dollar makes a difference. And we’ll be right there with you, supporting your process, celebrating your impact, and walking alongside your efforts to do the greatest good.
We’re evolving to build something more meaningful. To explore how United Way at Work can support your team’s unique path to giving, connect with Darlene Robertson, our Community Fund Development Coordinator. She’d love to hear from you and help bring your workplace’s vision for community impact to life – www.mynuw.org.
