NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – October 23, 2025 – United Way Northumberland is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Wilson as President of its Board of Directors at its recent Annual General Meeting in September.
“The United Way is uniquely positioned to identify and respond to the diverse needs of people in Northumberland County. I am continually blown away by the energy and generosity of my neighbours – and the abiding willingness to step up and help that I see every day in Northumberland. I am thrilled to be part of that,” said Ms. Wilson.
“Christine will also be leading an amazing group of volunteer board members through the development of our new 3-year Strategic Plan, enduring that we are positioned to meet the needs of our communities throughout Northumberland County.”

Under Ms. Wilson’s leadership, the organization will continue to unite donors, volunteers, and service providers to create long-term, sustainable change for people across Northumberland County.
Ms. Wilson lives in Colborne with her golden retriever, Maisie.
